First Day of School Sophomore Year

Every year I take a first day of school picture...well this year, for the first time, Bailey stood alone (yes, I cried). This is also my first year to be working and miss taking her to school. It was difficult for me, but I'm glad that she will have these memories of her daddy taking her too! 

University of Arkansas

The weekend has finally arrived for us to drive to Arkansas and get Riley moved into his dorm. I have such mixed emotions about this moment. We have decided to stay through the weekend. Partly, so that we can explore and see what campus has to offer, but mostly to drag out the inevitable goodbye's. I can honestly say that leaving him at school was one of the most difficult things I've had to do. It felt so unnatural to drive away and leave him in another state!!! I cried almost the entire way home. Once home it felt so lonely knowing he wouldn't be home anytime soon. I walked past his bedroom and Jeremy was in tears laying face down on his bed. Luckily, parent weekend is only 2 weeks away :)

Cup Song

Bailey, Jeremy and Jess spent a couple of hours learning the cup song while Riley was at work and I was meeting with Christin. I am really impressed that they learned it enough to perform it tonight!!

Learner's Permit Take 2
