Been A Long Time

It's been a long time since Jeremy's pushed Bailey in a swing :) I have been on a froyo kick lately, so we get it a lot. Rudy showing his off for us.

Summer Solstice

This trip started out boys only, but was quickly invaded. This was also our first trip to Arkansas. Riley wanted to tour the U of A and attend this event. When we first arrived I felt like we were in Woodstock. The land we stayed on was private property that was opened just for this event, so the water was beautiful and crystal clear. We spent the weekend hanging out, listening to live music, eating, cooking outdoors, biking, hiking, paddle surfing, long boarding and even bathing in the river. I can only handle so much of the outdoors so I made several trips to the local general store and we even found a restaurant to eat at to get inside for a little while. I'm pretty sure we were the only people to come and go ;) We had some tick issues which really freaked us out, but other than that it was a beautiful place to spend time with eat other and outdoors.

Keystone Youth Camp 2013

Bailey prefers to go to camp alone, so it's hard to get pictures of her. They aren't allowed to have their phones, but I always text Bailey goodnight when she's away from home so I got the number of her leader and made sure she got her the messages :)

Paint Party

The paint party was a lot of fun despite the fact that I have the artistic ability of a child ;) 

Swimming

I think Charlee loves to swim almost as much as Bailey.

Bailey and Layla

Bailey is insistent that Layla loves her most :) When Rudy was little and was at our house he only wanted me, so Bailey is determined to keep that from happening again.

Graduation

Not much to say....the ceremony was long and boring (as expected) and I cried a lot!! I love, love, love the photo of me hugging Riley. So many emotions mixed up in that moment...happy, proud, excited, and sad.

Bailey's 15th

We wanted to take Bailey somewhere new for her birthday, so we decided to take her to Fred's in Fort Worth. They are famous for their burgers and have been a staple in Fort Worth for a long time. It was as good as we expected! For dessert we headed over to Sweet Sammies for a build your own ice cream sandwich. We were joined by our sweet friends Randy and Tomi.  Bailey babysits Sterling and Maverick and they just adore her. For her birthday present we got her tickets to Brad Paisley on July 27th. To accompany her gift her grandmother bought her first pair of cowboy boots.
